    – nuevas relaciones de cambio
    – neumaticos de baja resistencia a la rodadura

    Veo un consumo muy bueno, pero unas prestaciones pobres para la potencia que tiene.

    Opel Astra GTC: Powerful Whisper Diesel for 24,390 Euros

    Rüsselsheim. Whisper diesel premiere for the Astra GTC: the all-new 1.6 CDTI now also ensures powerful and clean drive in the sporty compact coupé. This makes the 100 kW/136 hp turbo diesel with 320 Nm maximum torque available for the entire Astra family. It replaces the 1.7 CDTI and provides more performance and higher torque with less displacement. The Astra GTC can be ordered with the new engine for prices starting at 24,390 euros (RRP incl. VAT in Germany).

    The 1.6 CDTI consumes just 4.1 liters diesel per 100 km and emits just 109 g/km CO2. This earns the Astra GTC the German A energy efficiency label. But that is not all – with its powerful performance, the turbo diesel does absolute justice to the compact coupé’s sporty character. The newest generation all-aluminum turbo unit boasts powerful 320 Nm maximum torque – 20 Nm more than the 1.7-liter predecessor with 130 hp. The whisper diesel also has more power than the previous generation in spite of its smaller displacement. With 6 hp higher output, the Astra GTC accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds; it sprints from 80 to 120 km/h in fifth gear in just 8.9 instead of the previous 10.5 seconds. Its top speed is an impressive 198 km/h.

    Opel renewed the engine family for the Astra GTC within a very short time. The wide portfolio is completed by the 206 kW/280 hp top-of-the-line OPC, the high-performance diesel 2.0 BiTurbo CDTI with 143 kW/195 hp and 400 Nm maximum torque, the powerful 1.6 ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo with 125 kW/170 hp and 147 kW/200 hp as well as the whisper-quiet 1.6 CDTI with 100 kW/136 hp.

    Pleasantly quiet: Higher comfort thanks to lower noise generation

    The new 1.6 CDTI engine comes with Start/Stop plus a braking energy recuperation system as standard and is coupled with the further developed, improved six-speed manual transmission. This guarantees highest shifting comfort. A host of enhancements to the transmission components and shifting mechanisms, as well as to integration in the vehicle, led to noticeable improvements in comfort.

    Opel’s extremely efficient whisper diesel is the first unit in the Astra portfolio to already comply with the future Euro 6 emissions standard, making it the cleanest diesel Opel has ever built. The engine is best-in-class in noise and vibration generation thanks to its optimized component design, an especially efficient combustion process with multiple injection and additional acoustic measures. The result is totally convincing. Opel’s new 1.6 CDTI is the quietest diesel in its class, earning the name whisper diesel. Further contributors to its strong and clean performance are the VTG turbocharger (variable turbine geometry), the high-pressure common rail system and lean NOx trap exhaust after-treatment (LNT). The LNT is upstream of the diesel particulate filter and can capture and reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) from exhaust gases there, a clean and space-saving solution.

    Ya era hora….y los SiDI??

    Pues fíjate, creo que ya lo he contado por aquí pero a riesgo de repetirme diré que yo tuve uno pedido desde primeros de febrero, me dieron plazo de entrega a finales de abril o primeros de mayo. A primeros de abril llamé a atención al cliente (el concesionario ni pío) y ya era primeros de julio. Obviamente anulé el pedido (encima pretendían que aumentara la señal por si no se cumplía y me echaba atrás). Perdieron una venta por una forma de actuar inaceptable e inexplicable. Y el diésel de 136cv, se supone que una versión muy vendida, la dan para primavera de 2014, nada menos. Y en el sedán ¡para 2015¡ No me extraña que Opel vaya como va. Saludos.

    Rüsselsheim. The Opel Astra enters the new model year fiercely with the new generation 1.6 liter CDTI diesel engine and IntelliLink infotainment system with Bluetooth interface. Just one year on from when the entire restyled Astra family entered the market.

    The complete new 1.6 CDTI engine represents the next step in Opel’s powertrain offensive and may be characterized by an exceptionally quiet running performance. In addition, the engine is Euro-6 compliant and consumes just 3.9 liters diesel per 100 kilometers – a stunning 7 percent less than its 1.7 liter 130 hp predecessor with Start/Stop. High-tech is also very much present in the Astra’s interior: The new IntelliLink infotainment system brings the world of smartphones into the car – easily controllable and clearly arranged on a seven inch color display.

    The Opel Astra has been classified the most reliable German compact car according to leading German car magazine auto motor und sport (Edition 12/2013) and offers also a wide portfolio of petrol- LPG and diesel power trains. The Model Year highlight in the Astra five-door model, the limousine and Sports Tourer is the entirely new 1.6 CDTI. This extremely efficient whisper diesel by Opel is already today compliant with the Euro-6 emissions regulation. And it creates a stir with 100 KW/136 hp and 320 Newton meters of maximum torque – seven percent more than its 1.7 liter predecessor. It also consumes less fuel, emits fewer CO2 emissions and is quieter than its 1.7 liter predecessor. The Astra accelerates from 0 – 100 in 10.3 seconds; in fifth gear the engines goes from 80 to 120 km/h in just 9.2 seconds. The maximum speed is 200 km/h. The Astra 1.6 CDTI shows it combines high performance, impressive torque and highest efficiency through low fuel consumption. In combined cycle the Astra 16 CDTI needs an exemplary 3.9 liters per 100 kilometers, adding up to CO2 emissions of only 104 grams per kilometer. A strong statement in terms of environmental friendliness and cost of ownership!

    Furthermore, the new 1.6 CDTI is first in class for noise and vibration thanks to a multipoint NGV injection system. Ancillary components and engine covers were also acoustically decoupled. The result for drivers and passengers alike is quiet and convincing. The new 1.6 CDTI by Opel can truly be called a whisper diesel.

    Optimally linked up: IntelliLink technology now also in the Opel Astra

    Not just under the hood but also in the field of Infotainment, the Opel Astra is one hundred percent up-to-date. The ultra-modern IntelliLink system integrates smartphone functions into the car and impresses with a seven inch high-resolution color monitor that guarantees simple operation and ease of reading. As a new feature with the CD 600 IntelliLink Infotainment system, telephone calls via Bluetooth and audio streaming are possible. The system also features a USB connection.

    The very rapid and precisely reacting navigation system comes as standard with the Navi 650 IntelliLink and Navi 950 IntelliLink. The top variant Navi 950 IntelliLink covers the whole of Europe with its maps and destinations can be entered without a problem via voice control. Furthermore, the radio automatically recognizes music titles, albums and artists through audio devices with a USB connection Via USB and Aux-In Astra drivers and passengers can be shown pictures on the color display. In addition, incoming text messages can be read out.

    El paragolpes creo que es el del biturbo y solo se monta en esa version,el resto llevan el normal,creo,no estoy seguro

    PD:yo no he visto ningun GTC, excepto en el concesionario,es precioso,pero con rodillos

    Estás en lo cierto. Los Astra BiTurbo llevarán parachoques similares al del OPC. Y el GTC se mantiene tal y como salió, no ha tenido restyling.

    Es que al GTC creo que no se lo han hecho, me parece que ese parachoques ya se presentó desde el principio, porque el que llevan los restylings es diferente. En la foto que salen los 3 rojos se puede apreciar.

    El delantero, porque el trasero, pese a ser un color oscuro, se nota un monton que ahí está el sistema para colocar las bicis. En color claro no se yo si quedará tan bien…
